So, the boy has taken off, officially. I must admit that this has been one of the most exciting weeks of the past year, as we have watched the boy come closer to walking.

Sitting in Med/Surg class the other day, we were discussing different precipitating factors that contribute to heart disease, one of them being those with a type A personality. My friend, John reached over and drew a line through Type A in my notes, and free handed "Type Jared". And so the title of my blog was born, after all it is a blog about me.

I offer both my congratulations and condolences. I'm not quite sure why we long for the day when our little cherubs (if I may borrow a phrase from you) learn to walk. I guess it means progress and learning, but oh the heartaches it brings.... WAY TO GO SAMMIE! (I prefer to spell it like a sandwich. Mason thinks he's so cute he could eat him up)
